IM’s Meals on Wheels program is growing to meet the needs of our community!
Two capital projects will make a real impact in our ability to better serve homebound seniors:
A newly purchased building on Fannin Street, adjacent to our W.T. and Louise J. Moran Building, will allow Meals on Wheels and Animeals to grow. The building will include a Volunteer Welcome Center on street level. Special thanks to our lead donors: Fred G. Marshall, in loving memory of his wife, Linda; the Robert L. Cook Charitable Fund; and The J.E. and L.E. Mabee Foundation, Inc.
A newly purchased building in La Marque will house our Galveston County operations. Currently, we are in loaned space from the County. Special thanks to our lead donor: The Brown Foundation, Inc.
Thank you to PBK for donating architectural services for both projects.
Sponsorship opportunities are still available for furnishing these two buildings. For information, please contact Maria Magee at mmagee@imgh.org.
