Interfaith Ministries for Greater Houston fully supports the resettlement of Ukrainian refugees in the United States. We have been successfully resettling refugees from around the world for over three decades. Over 90% of those we serve are self-sufficient within six months of arrival.

At this time, we stand ready to welcome refugees who are fleeing war in their country. We have the capacity and the infrastructure to do so, and we know our community will support this work. Houstonians have a long history of being welcoming and compassionate to neighbors in need, both near and far.

We will follow directives from our national resettlement partners – the U.S. State Department, the Office of Refugee Resettlement, and Episcopal Migration Ministries. Presently, no Ukrainians have been referred to us, though we expect to help them in future weeks and months as authorized by the U.S. Administration.
