3rd Annual Texas Fried Chicken Throwdown

Benefiting Meals on Wheels of Greater Houston and Meals on Wheels Central Texas.

Royers Round Top in Round Top, Texas, is Sunday, June 4, from 2 to 4:30 p.m.

Texas chefs will compete against Bud the Pieman for the title of Best Fried Chicken in Texas, selected by a panel of foodie judges. Attendees will choose their favorites in the People’s Choice and Best Booth Display & Execution categories.

Tickets $35 includes admission to the event and fried chicken and sides from each of the competitors. Beverages and pies will be available on-site for purchase.

Kids under 12 are free.
