You are invited to join Rosanne Barone, Program Director in Houston for Texas Campaign for the Environment, for an online talk on Achieving Zero Waste in Houston & What You Can Do on Sunday, May 19 at 6 p.m. Rosanne will address policy making at the local and state levels to achieve zero waste goals and address problematic waste facilities, as well as international efforts to curb the production of products that can’t be recycled. Other major cities in TX have long-term solid waste policies to reduce trash to landfill by as much as 90%, and right now Houston is undergoing two major planning processes to update our waste management practices. Rosanne will discuss what can you do to help. Please register for this talk on www.eventbrite.com.
