You Belong: An Interactive Bullying Workshop for Kids & Parents

Save the date for this Interactive Bullying Workshop that will focus on bullying prevention, student rights, and shared experiences. Parents can attend a simultaneous workshop that focuses on student and parent rights, as well as school engagement. This event is open to people of all races, faith backgrounds, and ethnicities.
ING Youth Workshop (ages 12 and up)
– Bullying identification & prevention, student rights, identity in school
ING Parent Workshop
– Islamophobia, racism, student & parent rights and responsibilities, school engagement

Speak Up is a Houston based organization focused on creating awareness of issues creating crisis for families. Issues that have increased to become an epidemic in many communities throughout the world. Such as Homelessness/Hunger, Domestic Violence, Youth Impact and Child Abuse. We must SPEAK UP to combat these issues in order to stabilize families in crisis.
Islamic Networks Group (ING) is a non-profit organization whose mission is to counter prejudice and discrimination against American Muslims by teaching about their traditions and contributions in the context of America’s history and cultural diversity, while building relations between American Muslims and other groups. Reaching hundreds of groups and tens of thousands of individuals a year at the grassroots level, ING is building bridges among people of all backgrounds.
