Interfaith Ministries has been welcoming refugees for over 30 years. People fleeing war, violence and persecution seek a new start in Houston, and we are there from the moment their plane lands at the airport.

Imagine leaving everything you’ve ever known behind and starting over in a new land. We work with newly arrived refugees to first meet their basic needs, and then to empower them to become self-sufficient. In fact, over 80% of those we help are self-sufficient within 6-12 months of their arrival in Houston.
