Join Pastor Harvey Clemons, Interfaith Ministries, and other faith and community leaders in a moment of prayer and reflection on Monday, March 30 from Noon – 12:05 p.m. in your time zone.
HOUSTON (March 27, 2020) – Pastor Harvey Clemons from Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, Interfaith Ministries, and other faith and community leaders are encouraging everyone dealing with the stress of the COVID-19 pandemic to take a moment of prayer and reflection on Monday, March 30 from Noon – 12:05 p.m. in each time zone. This is a uniform time of shared prayer and reflection for hope and healing.
The response to COVID-19 has separated us from our usual and common ways of gathering. We are experiencing different levels, yet it is a collective experience, of displacement and isolation, separation and disconnection. This Moment of Prayer and Reflection on Monday, March 30 from Noon – 12:05 p.m. is an opportunity in each time zone as the day progresses around the world, to be connected across space and time.
Media spokespersons available to comment on the Moment of Prayer and Reflection scheduled for Monday, March 30 at Noon are:
- Pastor Harvey Clemons, Pleasant Hill Baptist Church
- Greg Han, Interfaith Ministries for Greater Houston
- Cardinal Daniel DiNardo, Archdiocese of Galveston Houston
- Shariq Ghani, Minaret Foundation
- Jane Meyer, St. Agnes Academy
- Rabbi Gideon Estes, Houston Rabbinic Association
