Stock, donor advised funds and IRA gifts
Gifts of appreciated stock, DAF grants and qualified charitable distributions from an IRA are all accepted, and stock or DAF gifts come with real tax advantages worth knowing about.

Corporate partnership
Sponsorship, service days and cause marketing
Companies partner with us three ways, and the strongest ones do all three: sponsor a program or event, bring employees out for a managed service day, and tell their customers about it.
- Route and program sponsorship. Underwrite a delivery route, a breakfast bag program or a truck wrap carrying your logo and the faces of the people it serves.
- Employee volunteer projects. Volunteer Houston plans and staffs the day, from a 20-person packing shift to a multi-site company-wide event.
- Event sponsorship. The Tapestry Gala, Heart for Heroes and Harmony Week all carry sponsorship packages with real visibility.
Does your employer match?
Many Houston employers match employee gifts dollar for dollar, and some match volunteer hours with a grant. Check with your HR team before you give, and send us the paperwork. It is the fastest way to double a gift.
