Interfaith Relations and Community Partnerships (IRCP) is at the heart of our work. This department offers a variety of opportunities for interfaith and intergroup education, dialogue, and service.
IRCP connects the community in a variety of ways:
iLead Youth Engagement for teens and their parents to celebrate MLK’s legacy of respect and service
IMpulse for young professionals to engage the next generation of community leaders in learning, networking, and volunteering
IMpower Women’s Initiative to unite diverse groups of women through community programming, coffee chats, and service projects
Tours of houses of worship for student, community, corporate and faith groups to learn more about greater Houston’s cultural and religious diversity
An annual Gershenson Lecture and IMpower Lecture program featuring distinguished local, state, and national experts
Monthly briefings for faith and community leaders
Dinner Dialogues to unite people of different faiths and backgrounds to discover common ground
