Virtual Dinner Dialogue
June 9, 2020 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Join Interfaith Ministries for Greater Houston for a Virtual Dinner Dialogue on Tuesday, June 9, 2020 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. to explore how COVID-19 has changed our world, especially our spiritual life. As part of the series, “Community and Faith in the COVID-19 Era” people will make new connections – virtually – and be a part of a meaningful dialogue about the challenges people are facing, how people are adapting, and what the new normal might be for faith communities.
The community is invited to join this event from the comfort and safety of home. While dining on a meal of their own choosing, participants will enjoy an evening of learning, fellowship and conversation in online large and small group settings, led by moderators.
The evening will also feature three faith leaders sharing their personal insights and moderating a dialogue on the COVID-19 impact on all of us. This segment will be led by: Nabila Mansoor, Interim Executive Director of Emgage; Rev. Diane McGehee of Bering Memorial United Methodist; and Rabbi Steven Gross of Houston Congregation for Reform Judaism.
The cost to participate is $10 to support the work of Interfaith Ministries programming to unite people in dialogue, service and collaboration during COVID-19 and beyond. Dinner is not included.
